The Ames Building was purchased by O’Callaghan Hotels as part of a national brand expansion. Built in 1889, the Ames Building is located in the original core of Boston’s downtown, and is a National Trust Landmark building.

The O’Callaghan Hotel group sought a refined soft traditional elegance for its first property in the northeast. With multiple room configurations, a unique collection of rooms and suites were designed to cater to the Boston market. Historic building elevations were to be kept intact as both reference and design amenities.
